STACYC warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship from the original date of purchase, subject to the manufacturer's applicable terms and conditions.

Warranty periods may be extended when an eligible STACYC is properly registered with the manufacturer. Always refer to STACYC's official warranty documentation for the complete and current terms.

Proper Use & Maintenance

Proper operation and regular maintenance are important for the performance, reliability and service life of your STACYC. Damage, failure or premature wear resulting from improper use, insufficient maintenance, improper storage or riding conditions outside the manufacturer's recommendations may not qualify as a manufacturing defect under the applicable warranty.

• Follow all instructions, warnings and maintenance requirements in the STACYC Owner's Manual.
• Ride in dry conditions. Avoid rain, standing water, puddles and other wet riding conditions.
• Do not clean the bike using a garden hose or pressure washer.
• Inspect and maintain the bike according to the recommended maintenance schedule.
• Maintain proper tire pressure according to the tire and STACYC model specifications.
• Make sure the brakes are properly adjusted and are not dragging.
• Maintain proper chain tension and lubrication.
• Avoid operating the bike under excessive load or continuing to ride when the bike indicates an overheating or overload condition.
• Respect the maximum rider weight specified for your STACYC model.

Exceeding the recommended maximum rider weight places additional load on the motor, drivetrain, brakes and other components.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty coverage may not apply when damage or failure results from conditions outside the manufacturer's warranty requirements. This may include:

• accident or collision;
• use for purposes other than those for which the product was designed;
• poor, insufficient or neglected maintenance;
• failure to follow the Owner's Manual instructions or warnings;
• modification of the product;
• exposure of electronics or batteries to water;
• installation of unauthorized or incompatible parts;
• commercial use;
• improper storage;
• damage or premature wear caused by misuse, excessive load or operation outside the manufacturer's recommendations.

Warranty eligibility is determined based on the circumstances of each claim and the applicable manufacturer's warranty terms. Normal wear, maintenance-related issues and damage resulting from use are not necessarily manufacturing defects.
