Usage & installation

Important: this assembly uses the 16eDrive gearbox and gear ratio. When installed on a 12eDrive, the bike gains power but no longer uses original 12eDrive drivetrain specs.

For future repairs, it is critical to remember the bike is now running a 16eDrive setup (different planetary and gearbox system). Internal components are not interchangeable between 12eDrive and 16eDrive.

Technical note: always inspect drivetrain components during installation. Worn gearbox parts can affect performance even with a new assembly.
