Usage & installation

Important: this replacement requires basic mechanical skills. Nothing complex, but proper understanding is needed for correct adjustment.

It is essential to keep a slight amount of chain slack. A chain that is too tight can cause damage during impacts (jumps, compression), as the bike flexes under load.

In these conditions, an overly tight chain can lead to failure of the 90° gearbox. Always set proper chain tension to protect drivetrain components.

Note: to remove the freewheel, use the proper tool such as the Park Tool FR-6.
