Important: this replacement requires basic mechanical skills. Nothing complex, but proper understanding is needed.

It is essential to maintain a slight amount of chain slack, even if the bike is equipped with a cush drive. A chain that is too tight can cause damage during impacts (jumps, compression), as the bike flexes under load.

Excessive tension can lead to failure of the 90° gearbox. Always set proper chain tension to protect drivetrain components.

Note: to remove the freewheel, use the proper tool such as the Park Tool FR-6.
