Diagnosis & wear signs

• Loss of power transmission under load
• Abnormal mechanical noise
• Play or movement in the housing
• Cracked or damaged outer housing (bolt area)

Note: unlike 12–16 models, failure is typically not the internal ring gear, but rather the outer housing due to higher torque.

Recommended upgrade

A reinforced gearbox housing is currently being developed by H&S Motorsport, designed to address the known weak points around the mounting bolts.

Usage & installation
